Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe reveals if he would ever play James Bond

While appearing on the Graham Norton Show, Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe revealed if he would ever play the role of James Bond.

Just because Daniel Radcliffe has played one memorable and iconic character, Harry Potter, doesn’t mean he can’t play another; such as James Bond. In fact, the actor is playing a version of the British spy right now.

Daniel Radcliffe is currently playing the voice of Rex Dasher, a super savvy spy, in the animated movie Playmobil: The Movie. While appearing on the Graham Norton Show to discuss his new animated role, the subject of playing Jame Bond came up.

Revealing many people had told him how he could play the role of James Bond, based purely on his accent alone, the former Harry Potter star revealed if he would ever play James Bond. Here is what he had to say.

"“When people meet me in America and hear my English accent, they say, ‘You should play James Bond,'”“I know, and everyone here knows, I will never be James Bond, but playing a Bond-like Playmobil character felt much more likely!”"

Now, I am sure, if Daniel Radcliffe ever changed his mind and was offered the role of the Britsh secret agent, he would nail the role. However, I am glad he isn’t interested in the part.

I don’t know why, but I just can’t imagine it. Maybe it’s because he was once the Boy Who Lived, but I think I would be too distracted at the idea of Harry Potter running after evil genius’ and using super-secret gadgets.

I think I would end up yelling on more than one occasion:

“Use your wand! Stupefy them! Stop using gadgets you wannabe Muggle!”

I honestly think the role of James Bond should go to someone else.
