The Avengers cast has some pretty funny answers to our most burning questions

In a sketch for The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, the cast of Avengers: Endgame finally answered our most burning questions with some amusing answers.
The cast of Avengers: Endgame finally revealed some of the answers to our most burning questions on the Late Show with Stephen Colbert. And with still a week to go before the movie’s premiere, you’d think we’d be singing their praises for telling us what we want. That would be the case, but just because the Avengers are answering our questions, it doesn’t mean they’re going to give us the most-correct answers.
Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Chris Hemsworth, Brie Larson, Jeremy Renner, Don Cheadle and Mark Ruffalo all appeared in this video, but honesty was not their best quality in this Q&A.
For reference, the sketch comes together like a cross between a website’s FAQ page, a tacky medicine commercial, and a Saturday Night Live skit. So just let that dictate how well you think they answered our questions.
Brie Larson, for example, gets asked, “What’s Captain Marvel’s secret weapon for taking down Thanos?” Larson answers by saying. “Easy, it’s compassion.” Then promptly backtracks on that and says, “No, I’m gonna punch him into the sun.” (Which, if we’re being honest here, it sounds like more of a real spoiler than a misleadingly funny answer.)
One person gets bold enough to ask Chris Hemsworth how Endgame ends, even if it costs him his life to hear it. Let’s just say, the guy got his answers, but he won’t live to tell the tale.
To see if your most burning question for the Endgame cast gets answered, you can watch the clip from The Late Show with Stephen Colbert below. But take warning, it’s all a parody. So don’t even fool yourself in thinking the cast would finally let some spoilers slip.
Endgame spoilers have actually been a hot topic lately, as a massive leak tore the Marvel fandom apart this week. We won’t tell or link out to those spoilers, though, because the Russo brothers are encouraging all of us not to spoil the movie. As the leak made its way around the internet Monday, the Russos released a letter similar to the one last year requesting that fans #DontSpoilEndgame.
As ScreenRant mentions in the linked story above, it may be wise to avoid social media for a while if you don’t want to be spoiled. You may not even want to read the replies in the Russos’ tweet, too.
If you still want to enjoy Endgame content before the movie comes out, your best bet is to stick with approved social media pages like the official Marvel Twitter or even YouTube channels like Stephen Colbert’s. The cast knows they can’t give away any spoilers during the promotional tour, so you’re safe there. Just remember the golden rule: don’t read the comments.
We can hold on just a little while longer. Avengers: Endgame is out in theaters everywhere April 26.
