The world of Harry Potter and trivia: How much do we actually know about our favorite series
We all think we know the most about the Harry Potter series but when you put that knowledge to the test in trivia, how well do you actually do? Are you good or bad?
Thinking you know a lot about the Harry Potter series is one thing but actually knowing everything there is to know is something else entirely. And that’s what trivia does for us. Whenever we think we know a series or a property, we’re reminded that there is just so much to know about it the minute we try and play trivia.
With Harry Potter, it’s almost worse because there is so much to go off of. There are 7 books, 8 movies, a play, and now all the Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them films. None of that is including the books that are broadening the world of Harry Potter either. So how are we supposed to remember all of that?
If anything, the Fantastic Beasts movies even prove that it’s hard to remember things within the series because Dumbledore is teaching the wrong class in the film. Is it just that we all love certain aspects of the series so much that we focus our energy there? Or is trivia maybe not the way to go to test our knowledge of Harry and all his friends?
Who knows really but it is a fun way to get friends together to talk about the series and relive all the magic of it. Just maybe don’t get too competitive about it just in case you’re not that great at Harry Potter trivia.
