Grey Worm looks sad, and that means that he’s facing the realization that he might die. Well, to put it in a more realistic way, he’s confronting that possibility with Missandei, who cannot fight and who will likely be far away from him if he does fall against the White Walkers at some point. It’s a shame we don’t get to see her expression, but we get the feeling it’s more than a little strained.

Even the Lady of Winterfell has to eat, and we think Sansa’s holding a bowl and spoon of some sort, or maybe something that she can ladle out to the newcomers. Again, she’s not armored, but she wouldn’t have to be.

There is one smaller lady who we can see in armor, and the Game of Thrones gods have heard our requests:

Bella Ramsey as Lyanna Mormont – Photo: Helen Sloan/HBO

We have no words. She is the Lady of Bear Island, and we will all bear witness to her taking no nonsense with the armor’d look to back it up. She’s so tiny, yet so fierce.

Emilia Clarke as Daenerys Targaryen – Photo: Helen Sloan/HBO

Still no armor, Daenerys! This is at least an ensemble for what would seem to be warmer climes, though there’s still some fur trim on the sleeves and around the shoulders. She doesn’t appear to be wearing gloves, either. This might sound strange, but this seems like too much sunlight to be Winterfell. Does our queen claimant take a brief trip south in this episode?
