Harry Potter and the Cursed Child star Anthony Boyle in new HBO series

Shortly after finishing his run in Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, Anthony Boyle has been cast in the new HBO series, The Plot Against America.
Harry Potter fans will forever remember Anthony Boyle as Scorpius Malfoy in the Wizarding World production Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. The actor is set to begin a new project, the new HBO mini-series The Plot Against America.
Based on the book of the same name by Philip Roth, the news was first reported by Deadline. Production is set to begin later this month.

An alternate history series, Anthony Boyle is set to join the likes of Stranger Things‘ Winona Ryder, Azhy Robertson from Untitled Noah Baumbach Project, Zoe Kazan from The Ballad of Buster Scruggs, and Morgan Spector from Homeland.
Anthony Boyle will play the role of Alvin Levin. The orphaned nephew to Herman, he is both angry and intelligent who allows political differences, grudges, and resentments along with his own hypocrisy to take him on a journey that will see him move from street crime to the battlefields in Europe and back again.

The HBO series is being described as an alternate history of America which sees Charles Lindbergh, who is an aviator-hero and xenophobic populist, rise through the political ranks to President where he then takes the nation onto the path of fascism. This story is told through the eyes of a family in New Jersey who are both working class and Jewish.
