Harry Potter Dark Arts at Hogwarts Castle light show premieres at Universal Studios Hollywood

The highly anticipated Harry Potter light show at Universal Studios Hollywood, Dark Arts at Hogwarts Castle, has officially premiered.
Officially premiering last night, Apil 12, the Dark Arts took over Hogwarts at Universal Studios Hollywood. The highly anticipated Harry Potter light show, officially called “Dark Arts at Hogwarts Castle,” will run each night until April 28.
Projected onto Hogwarts Castle itself. The light show is accompanied by a special musical soundtrack recorded by the London Symphony Orchestra.

Featuring everything associated with the Dark Arts in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. Those in attendance of the premiere witnessed Dementors, Death Eaters, Acromantulas, and even Lord Voldemort himself.
Universal Studios Hollywood went one step further with the “Dark Arts at Hogwarts Castle” light show by pulling off a first. They introduced drones as part of the light show, they formed Harry Potter‘s Patronus during the light show to give it that extra special wow factor.

If you would like to see the light show for yourself but won’t be able to make it to Universal Studios Hollywood by the end of April, don’t worry. The show will be back for an additional run between May 25 – 27, 2019.
The light show is also set to take place at the Universal Orlando Resort. A release date has not yet been announced, but it is to take place at some point in 2019.
