Cersei will be killed by one of her brothers

A major theory that has followed Cersei through all eight seasons of the show is that she’ll be killed—either directly or indirectly—by either Jaime or Tyrion. This stems from Maggy the Frog’s prophecy to young Cersei, referenced in the show but detailed more thoroughly in George R.R. Martin’s books. In the books, Maggy tells Cersei that the “valonqar”, a term Cersei translates as “little brother”, will be the one to end her life.

Persistent in her distrust of Tyrion, Cersei believes that this prophecy refers to him. But although she and Jaime are twins, it turns out that Jaime is the younger of the two—meaning he could just as easily be the valonqar mentioned. Both of them are currently on the opposing side of the war, and they’ve both become fed up with Cersei’s antics. It seems likely that either of them could kill her at this point of the series, if only by handing their support to Daenerys’ cause.
