Game of Thrones season 8: 5 last-minute Daenerys Targaryen predictions

Daenerys will be forced to face the Night King—and Viserion

It’s inevitable that Daenerys will see what the Night King has turned Viserion into this season, but will she be capable of facing the two of them in battle? Up until this point, only Jon has really had one-on-one glaring contests with the leader of the army of the dead. The Night King, however, might turn his sights on Daenerys…and she’s likely to take things personally in return once she sees him riding upon one of her beloved children.

Daenerys and Drogon might wind up fighting the Night King on their own, though it’s far more likely that she’ll enlist Jon’s help in the endeavor—confirming him as the final dragon rider. It’s also possible that Daenerys won’t be able to bear the burden of taking down Viserion, though we know that she doesn’t have a “gentle heart” and is more than capable of facing her demons.

Whatever happens between Daenerys and the Night King, let’s just hope she survives it.
