When it comes to stunning red carpet looks, Rodarte is usually one of the names on everyone’s lips. And now they are making an all-inclusive fashion line that is also affordable with the help of Universal Standard.

We have all heard the stories of high-end fashion designers turning away clients who are considered plus size. And even when we look at our standard fashion, it can be hard to find quality products that are also affordable. However, a new collaboration between Rodarte and Universal Standard is looking to change all of that.

If you have ever wanted that high-end dress or that stunning top, but known there was no chance that the brand had your size, we feel your pain. Sometimes we want to splurge on ourselves but we simply can’t. Now, it sounds like that won’t be a problem.

According to Glamour magazine, Rodarte and Universal Standard are teaming up to bring people several stylish pieces that are a blend of inclusivity and playful design. And we aren’t just talking four different styles, we are talking different color options and sizes from 00 to a 40. But what makes this team-up so impressive is the fact that even though Rodarte is a true red carpet, high-end fashion brand, every piece will be under $250, which means that these pieces are in reach of people who may not usually be able to snag the brand’s typical pieces.

Alexandra Waldman, the co-founder of Universal Standard, explained that when they decided to do this partnership, they wanted a brand that was not only different from them, but that would allow consumers the opportunity to have access to things they didn’t before. While Waldman and her co-founder, Polina Veksler, brought to the table the ability to create clothing that was inclusive of all sizes, the founders of Rodarte, sisters Kate and Laura Mulleavy, were able to bring their unique style aesthetics.

However, while you may think that means pieces that are only worthy of a red carpet appearance or something more avant-garde, the goal was to create items that could easily be utilized in any wardrobe. With a color palette that works for all occasions and the ability to move with the clothes, this collaboration is one that truly is a step above the red carpet.

Perhaps it is just me, but this feels like the start of a true revolution. Having access to high-end designer pieces not only at affordable prices, but also in all sizes, is a dream come true for many of us. I am totally here for this collaboration and hope that it does so well that the two companies decide to bring us more pieces.

I can’t wait to see this collaboration as it goes mainstream, and I know I will be snagging something if I can. What about you?
