Harry Potter doesn’t know how to do much for himself and yet he succeeds

If you look at Harry Potter and what he’s good at versus what he learned at school, there isn’t much crossover and yet Harry ended up as the head Auror?

Harry Potter isn’t the most talented wizard in the world. In fact, he’s just a very unlucky person who happens to be thrown into something and he has to then cope with all the aftermath. So how did he end up as an Auror? How did he end up in charge of the Aurors?

Honestly, it might be just because he is the kind of character who went through so much that he ended up getting the job because he’s the Boy Who Lived. Had he not been the one to defeat Voldemort (even though that might be Neville Longbottom’s credit), he most definitely wouldn’t have that position.

Sure, he might still be an Auror but he wouldn’t be the one in charge of everything and Hermione would have probably had to help him train. One of the great things about Harry Potter is that he needs his friends in order to succeed, he needs to reach out to those around him to be a stronger person and it is wonderful to see.

And we even see in Harry Potter and the Cursed Child that when he is in charge, he still is turning to Hermione and his friends for guidance. So would Harry Potter be an Auror if not for his past? Who can say but he is a wonderful wizard none the less.

Next. Hermione Granger is a Gryffindor but should she have been a Ravenclaw instead?. dark
