Avengers: Endgame characters: Who will die and who will survive?

The highly-anticipated release of Avengers: Endgame is just around the corner, and the Sword of Damocles hovers dangerously above Marvel’s mightiest heroes. Who will survive into the next phase, and who will we say goodbye to?

We’ve already had to suffer the losses of some of our favorite Avengers in Infinity War, but nothing is set in (Infinity) stone. Considering that Agent Coulson could return from a literal spear through the heart, and that Loki is currently on his third go at life… Put it this way, the Grim Reaper’s job is a lot less secure in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

With many, many sequels in the works, and expired contractual obligations to side-eye (“Mr Feige, we don’t feel so good…”), we thought we’d evaluate how likely our heroes are to survive what promises to be a three-hour emotional throat punch.
