Innocent-looking Thanos Build-a-Bear comes with feature worse than the snap

Build-a-Bear’s Thanos Bear looks innocent on the outside, but it when it talks, it could reveal some major spoilers for Avengers: Endgame.

The mass hysteria over Avengers tickets can step aside today, because Thanos is already wreaking havoc in a way that just may be worse than the snap: telling spoilers. We’re sure the Russo brothers would agree with us on that, so they may want to keep an eye on Build-a-Bear’s latest teddy that has Thanos saying some questionably spoiler-like things.

The little bundle of evil was shared on the Marvel Studios spoilers Reddit (as found by CBR), pointing out that the phrases for the bear definitely seem to be spoilers for Avengers: Endgame. Here’s a breakdown of what Thanos says, which you can listen to on the Build-a-Bear website.

• “I don’t care for your petty politics.”
• “If you cannot retrieve the orb, don’t bother coming back.”
• “I will find you.”
• “I had all the power in my grasp.”
• “How are you doing this? You do not have the will to wield the power of the Infinity Stones.”

The first three phrases make it seem like someone will be doing business with Thanos once again. Much like Loki and Ronan were sent out by Thanos to find the Infinity Stones, it could be in Endgame that Thanos will have someone else to do his bidding.

My immediate reaction is that Thanos will actually be making a deal with one of the Avengers. Could Tony Stark, perhaps, convince Thanos to undo the snap? Will they be able to use his loss of Gamora as an emotional leverage of sorts to convince him to reverse everything?

That leads us to the phrase about bringing him “the orb,” which seems like it will result in a fine punishment if they don’t retrieve it. If this is Thanos bargaining with an Avenger, this orb could play a role in un-snapping the dusted Avengers. Otherwise, this could be Thanos speaking with another villain after he learns that the Avengers are planning to undo his work. Could someone like Red Skull warn him, with Red Skull now out to do his bidding to stop the Avengers? Based on this audio, that does sound like a possibility.

The last audio clips, as CBR mentions, make it seem as though a popular fan theory may come to light. With this theory in particular, the Avengers will find a way to make their own Infinity Gauntlet by recollecting the stones somehow. Many names have been passed around as to who could wield it, from Iron Man to Captain Marvel. But if this audio is truly based on the movie, then it for sure seems like the Avengers need (and will get) all the Infinity Stones to save the day.
