Harry Potter vs the Avengers: Who would win in a box office battle?
If Harry Potter was still taking over the box office with new movies, how would it pair up against the world of the Avengers? Who would win in a showdown?
Today the world fought against the evils of Fandango to try and get tickets to Avengers: Endgame and may or may not have succeeded. But what if there were still Harry Potter movies being made to fight against it? Who would win in a box office battle?
And sure, the Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them films count but they’re different from the original movies. A lot of us remember going to the theater and camping out to get good seats, waiting for your friends and rushing in at midnight so you were the first to see the latest Harry Potter movie, even though we had read the books.
With the Avengers, we don’t know their story. We have source material but the Russo brothers could do whatever they wanted and we wouldn’t know the difference. Yet we still rush there because we don’t want to be spoiled.
So, would a Harry Potter movie be as important if they were competing against each other? Just because with Harry Potter, we at least already know what is going to happen but with Avengers: Endgame, who knows what it could mean.
Maybe there will be a world once more when there is even more Harry Potter content at the same time as a Marvel movie. Until then, we can only think of this magical battle of our favorites.
