Dead or Alive? Here’s every character’s status ahead of Avengers: Endgame

Avengers: Endgame is out soon, and we still have a lot of feelings about Infinity War. Let’s check in on every character’s status since the last Avengers movie.

We all still have a lot of mixed feelings about Avengers: Infinity War. That’s a given. The heartbreak from that single snap that turned half the population of the universe and some of our favorite superheroes into dust is a sore subject. In spite of this, we can’t help but still be huge fans of the Marvel franchise with the amazing people involved with its creation.

From creative storylines to admirable characters, and complex special effects, what more could we want from these movies? We can at least hope that what’s in store for the next film will at least partially save our broken hearts.

News and spoilers in regards to Endgame have been kept under lock and key so that leaves things up to us and our wild imaginations. With so many fan theories swirling around the internet as to how our heroes will return, our anticipation for the upcoming sequel to Infinity War grows even more.

Will all of our heroes return unharmed? Will they be trapped forever with no hope of coming back? Obviously, we’re hoping for the former option, but sadly we must be prepared for anything knowing what the Russo brothers are capable of creating.

Marvel recently teased the status of some of our heroes with some new Endgame character posters. Characters that were still alive had posters with color, whereas those who were either allegedly killed during the movie or turned to dust were shown in black and white.

There were some revelations that we already knew and some that were surprising, inciting more fan theories for the upcoming film. As we wait for Avengers: Endgame to come to theaters, let’s remind ourselves of where we left certain characters by the end of the last movie and whether or not they are alive, dead for good, or turned to dust.
