David Thewlis cast in Netflix drama I’m Thinking of Ending Things

Everybody’s favorite Harry Potter Professor and Marauder, David Thewlis, has been cast in an up and coming Netflix drama, I’m Thinking of Ending Things.
David Thewlis left a lasting impression on Wizarding World fans when he appeared in Harry Potter. The actor has recently been cast in a Netflix drama, I’m Thinking of Ending Things, and we’re sure he will leave a lasting impression on Netflix fans.
Thewlis played Hogwarts Defence Against the Dark Arts teacher, Professor Lupin, in Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. He appeared in future installments of Harry Potter as a member of the Order of Phoenix in the fight against Lord Voldemort. Lupin was also a Marauder, one of the creators of the Marauders Map and friend to James Potter.

Variety first broke the news and according to them, Thewlis will be joined in the Netflix film by Toni Collette, Jessie Buckley, and Jesse Plemons. Charlie Kaufman will both write and direct I’m Thinking of Ending Things, which is based on the 2016 novel of the same name by Ian Reid’s.

The Netflix film will follow Jesse Plemons character Jake, who is embarking on a trip to see his parents, who live on a secluded farm, with his girlfriend, played by Jessie Buckley, who is considering ending the relationship.
This journey will soon turn into a tense, psychological terror when Jake decides to make an unexpected detour, leaving his girlfriend stranded.
No word yet on who Thewlis will play in the Netflix film or when it will be released on the streaming network. As soon as we know more, we will let you know.
