Colin Farrell shines in Tim Burton’s Dumbo and makes us miss him in Fantastic Beasts!
He may not be in the Harry Potter universe anymore but Colin Farrell shines in the live-action version of Dumbo, making you fall in love with Holt Farrier and his kids.
Dumbo is the kind of story that you watched as a kid and it maybe made you want to hug your mom and now, he’s back with Colin Farrell! The Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them star takes on Holt Farrier, a circus performer who comes back from the war to find his children without their mother.
The group falls in love with Dumbo, a new baby elephant who has ears a bit too big for his body. But luckily for Dumbo, they give him the ability to fly! Farrell does an incredible job in the movie, bringing to life this family that made many fans fall in love with him and his work once again.
Farrier and his children have to help Dumbo learn his full potential while also trying to help him find his mother, who was sold and taken away from their circus. With an all-star cast, a beautiful song, and incredible costumes, Tim Burton’s Dumbo is a wonderful adaptation of a classic that many of us have loved since we were children. The cartoon may always have a soft spot in our hearts but now, with the live action version, we can talk about Dumbo in an entirely new and fun way!
After all, though, it is Dumbo. There isn’t much to get us out to see a movie about a cute little elephant trying to find his mom!
