Linkin’ Bridge

Linkin’ Bridge shocked everyone with their audition back in season 11 in 2016. At first, the a cappella group seemed to play it cool, not wanting to give too much away about their singing abilities. It wasn’t until the first bars of “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” began that both the judges and the audience realized they were holding out on them.

The group is made up of members Big Rome, Montre Davis, Shon China Lacy, and Ekoe Alexanda. Rome and Lacy are cousins and met the other two members when they were kids and have stayed together ever since. Linkin’ Bridge made it past the first round and went on to get through the semi-finals and the finals, but did not make it to the top five.

The a cappella group is still performing around the states and has uploaded videos and songs on Facebook, Instagram and Spotify documenting their travels and gigs.

Most recently, Linkin’ Bridge member Ekoe Alexanda has left the group to pursue other things and was replaced by 27-year-old Elliott Nicholas. Nicholas has immediately become one of the boys and has taken to the role of a Linkin’ Bridge member without any hesitation. Here’s to many more years with these guys!
