Good Girl

Last, but certainly not least, we have the R&B girl group called Good Girl. Inspired by other girl groups such as The Spice Girls, Destiny’s Child, and TLC, this group formed in the hopes of promoting girl power.

Good Girl consists of four members: Megan Nicolle, Arielle, JL, and Bobbie. The 21 to 23-year-olds were excited to audition for their idol, Mel B, and wanted to show the world that they were ready to become the American version of The Spice Girls.

The group sang En Vogue’s “Don’t Let Go,” and received high praise for their vocal talents and overall vibes. They were unfortunately eliminated during the judge cuts round after singing Montell Jordan’s “This is How We Do It,” and did not make it to the quarterfinals.

Since the show, they are still persevering despite not winning the competition. They have been posting videos to YouTube and even recorded their own original song called “I Can Be Yours” featuring A Boogie. The group is still located in Philadelphia and they are as fierce as ever. They strive to promote plenty of girl power and black excellence, which is truly inspiring.
