Angelica Hale
Angelica was only 9 years old when she auditioned for season 12 of America’s Got Talent. The minute we saw her, we all fell in love with how adorable she was. Little did we know that a remarkable talent resided within the youngster.
She clearly sang her little heart out when she performed her rendition of Andra Day’s song “Rise Up.” The passion and soul she put into the song resonated with everyone in the room, and we’re fairly certain she did the song (and Andra Day) justice.
She made it to the Judge Cuts round where guest judge Chris Hardwick awarded her the Golden Buzzer and sent her directly to the quarterfinals. In the end, she took second place next to Darci Lynne.
She then went on to come back for AGT: The Champions. Her first song was Rachel Platten’s “Fight Song,” and, unsurprisingly, did a great job. Howie Mandel hit the Golden Buzzer for Hale, making her the first and only contestant, so far, to receive the Golden Buzzer twice. She then went on to the finals, but unfortunately didn’t receive enough votes to make it through to a spot in the top five.
Nowadays, Angelica continues to perform for others and uploads videos to her Youtube channel where she’s accumulated over one million subscribers.
