Let’s admit that the Harry Potter movies aren’t the greatest representation

Sure, we love the Harry Potter movies because they’re the visual representation of our favorite series but that doesn’t mean that they do a perfect job of it.

Everyone remembers the first time they watched the Harry Potter movies. Whether it was in the theaters or in the comfort of your own home, we all would flock to see them and cry as we watched our favorite story come to life. That doesn’t mean we are exactly happy with how the movies turned out.

With the exception of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, most of the movies could have done with some improvements. Not that they were bad representations of the series, just that there were things that didn’t make a lot of sense. For instance, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince was rushed and felt like we were being told half a story because the book had too much to tell.

It would have been better if there were two separate movies, telling the story of the Half-Blood Prince while giving time to Dumbledore and the Horcruxes in a way that didn’t feel like we were throwing together two things that weren’t important. Especially because both storylines are incredibly important.

To be honest, the idea about a Potter television series should seriously be considered. It’d give life to these storylines we didn’t get to explore in the movies and would let us truly understand Snape as the Half-Blood Prince without it feeling like a throwaway line just to appease fans of the books.

Next. Fans didn’t ‘make’ Dumbledore gay, J.K. Rowling is the one who announced it. dark
