Apparently there were always clues about Nagini being a human before?

There has been a lot of talk about J.K Rowling giving us information after the fact but now, apparently, we had always had ‘clues’ that Nagini was once a human.

J.K. Rowling has gotten a lot of flack recently for telling us things about our favorite characters after the fact and now, is she doing the same thing with Nagini? We know that Nagini has a human past, one that infuriated a lot of fans when they went to see Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald.

We didn’t want to think of Voldemort’s ‘pet’ as someone who was once a woman with agency and a life. How did she become his sidekick, the snake at his side that would do his bidding? Especially when the Nagini we knew and loved in Fantastic Beasts willingly said no to a dark lord.

But apparently, by Rowling’s admission, we were given major clues throughout the series about Nagini’s backstory. We had all the information at our disposal if we had put it together. Personally, I think comparing the “Naga” to Nagini was an easy transition but then again, both come from Sanskrit so…maybe we just weren’t as clever as we could have been.

Still, I’m extremely interested to see how it is going to pan out with Nagini and Credence. How does she become in Voldemort’s possession? Does  Credence Barebone have a connection to Voldemort we still don’t know about? We’ll have to wait and see when Fantastic Beasts 3 comes out!

Next. Cool, keep giving us more information J.K. Rowling but only if you also give us the Marauders. dark

Do you think there were clues about Nagini or do you think this is another “oh it’s there in the series” kind of situations? Let us know what you think in the comments below! And we can’t wait to see what happens with Fantastic Beasts 3!
