These Marvel boxing gloves from Hayabusa will make you feel like a superhero

Hayabusa collaborated with Marvel to create some of the most heroic-looking boxing gloves around. Putting these on will definitely get you feeling like one of Earth’s mightiest heroes.

Look, not all of us can have the super strength that Steve Rogers (aka Captain America) has. We all saw the scene from Avengers where Steve straight up knocked a punching bag off of its ceiling mount… and then proceeded to do the same thing with the next poor, innocent punching bag he had lined up.

Needless to say, you don’t need any super serum like Captain America to get strong. And if you are on your fitness journey, you’re going to need the right equipment to do it. Hey, no shame if you’re athletic and a little nerdy, because Hayabusa has you covered.

Hayabusa, a sports equipment and apparel company, recently collaborated with Marvel to create a line of boxing gloves creatively inspired by some of Marvel’s best heroes. Orders for the gloves are open now and they begin shipping out this month.

Let’s be clear, these aren’t your child’s Hulk Hands. These are legitimate boxing gloves that can be used in boxing workouts, bags and mitt work, and sparring. The line features gloves inspired by Captain Marvel, Iron Man, Captain America, Black Panther, and The Punisher. Check out some of them below.

Hayabusa was kind enough to send a pair our way, and (no lie) everyone in the office was “Ooh-ing” and “Aah-ing” at just how nice the Captain Marvel pair looked.

But first, I’ll be straight with you. While I love pretty much anything Marvel, I’m far from being a boxing expert. Luckily, Culturess shares an office with our parent site, FanSided, so I’m surrounded by sports experts.

When our boxing and MMA enthusiast got a chance to look at them, she was thoroughly impressed. (So much so that she couldn’t help but share a photo with her fellow boxing/MMA enthusiasts on Twitter.) With her expert approval, I knew we had something good on our hands.

Hayabusa’s CEO Ken Clement said “sliding on a pair of Hayabusa Marvel boxing gloves, you instantly feel like you’ve gained superpowers.” So of course, as someone who wants to be Captain Marvel when they grow up, I had to put that to the test immediately.

Now, my level of boxing talent could only be described as “Zero Dollar Baby.” But I couldn’t believe how powerful I felt slipping on those gloves. I (unfortunately) don’t have an endless supply of punching bags like Captain America, but I did have a wall that I was willing to embarrassingly throw a few light punches to instead. Luckily for the wall, my mediocre strength did not bust a hole through it. But with those gloves, I felt like I was bound to Hulk smash my fists right through that wall without hurting myself.

That may be because of the gloves’ splinting system, which protects your wrists from injuries while you use them. Plus, there’s a dual strap closure system so you can have a secure, tight fit (something akin to wrapping your hands and wrists without the actual wraps).

That being said, I now feel like a certified hero. And I hope throwing a few punches to the wall means that I qualify to star in Creed III so I can get the chance to finally meet Michael B. Jordan.

If you’re not looking to be Creed III‘s next lead, there’s a sure benefit to having equipment like this at your side. Boxing is just one of the many ways you can incorporate fitness into your healthy lifestyle, and Hayabusa is striving to inspire us all to embrace that active kind of lifestyle — just like our favorite superheroes on and off screen.
