12 ways to get designer stuff without breaking the bank

What makes the Nordstrom Rack site one of my favorites is the fact that they have two primary sections, the primary store and a section called Haute Look, which features special events and sales. I look at it as a chance for even more savings on top of their already great deals.

Although Nordstrom Rack isn’t necessarily going to have brands like Balmain or Valentino lining their racks, that’s not to say there aren’t plenty of other high-end designers in store. Variety is the spice of life, and you could end up finding a different designer that really calls to your personal sense of fashion.

And while I love heading into a Nordstrom Rack store to browse the newest additions, there is something to be said for shopping online and finding exactly what you want. In fact, we have even found pieces from designers that the Duchess of Sussex has worn in the last year, including Altuzarra, which means you can dress like a duchess whenever you want.

Speaking of looking like a duchess, why not pick up a dress from Ted Baker London? The brand has a stunning and low-key Joele shift dress that comes in a pale pink and has a touch of embellishment. We could totally see people wearing this as a work dress or for date night, depending on the look you want. And with the dress down to $169.97 from a $315 price tag, it’s not going to break the bank to look fierce and stunning.

With designers and pieces coming and going all the time (which makes sense when things are heavily discounted), you have to pick things up when you see them. Just like with this Altuzarra asymmetrical button hem stripe dress, which is a fun dress with pockets that we could totally see the Duchess of Sussex wearing during a summer outing. On sale for $379.97 (although it doesn’t tell us the original price), this dress comes from a designer we know Meghan Markle wears often, which means that price is a steal already.

I’ll admit I snagged this Cole Haan Belted Packable Raincoat for myself, as the original price tag of $500 got cut by 85 percent. That means I was able to get a designer raincoat for just $75. That’s the kind of savings and style that is just too hard to resist or pass up. And the fact it came in two different colors made this find even better, because it means I have options, even when it comes to my outerwear.

When it comes to finding high-end designers at a discount, you may not always think of Nordstrom Rack first, but it should certainly make the list. You might be surprised by what you end up finding.
