Pet Sematary

Stephen King’s classic Pet Sematary is once again being put on the big screen for all his followers and horror buffs to fan over. This remake of the 1989 film is set to be released on April 5 of this year. Moviegoers should be prepared for a scare!

The storyline follows Louis and Rachel Creed, played by Jason Clarke and Amy Seimetz and their two children Ellie, played by Jeté Laurence, and Gage, played in joint collaboration by twins Hugo and Lucas Lavoie. The film opens as they move from Boston to rural Maine into their new house. The story heats up when a Native American burial ground is found on the grounds of their new property.

Spoiler alert: When their family cat is killed due to a road accident, he is buried within the mysterious wood cemetery, which unleashes a series of unfortunate events. Evil runs rampant through this film as ancient energy takes over the body of their family cat. Things only get worse when their child is killed, so the family makes an attempt to bring their child back from the dead, just like their beloved cat. Unfortunately, their little baby comes back with a vengeance.
