The Woman in the Window

A.J. Finn’s The Woman in the Window is a superb psychological thriller that’s being featured to suspense lovers everywhere as it makes its way into theaters on Oct. 4. This one is definitely worth the wait!

This all-star cast consists of Amy Adams, Gary Oldman, and Julianne Moore. The film follows the story of Anna Fox (Adams), a sort of New York City recluse who enjoys sitting inside her apartment rather than venturing out on the streets of the busy city. However, Anna is not entirely alone as young Ethan, a teen boy makes efforts to become friends with her, knowing that she does suffer from agoraphobia.

The plot steams up as Anna believes she sees a murder occur across the street; the murder of her dear friend, Ethan’s mom. When she informs the police of this terrible crime, they try to convince her that she was merely hallucinating because of her prescribed medicine. Ethan’s family claims nothing happened, but strange things start happening in Anna’s life that all point back to what she saw.
