Watch Talos and Nick Fury throw down in new Captain Marvel clip

Captain Marvel, Nick Fury, and Talos are in the midst of an epic battle scene in the newest Captain Marvel movie clip. What could they be after?

Fans are excited to see the newest Marvel superhero hit the big screen. In the latest scene to hit the internet, Captain Marvel, Nick Fury, and Talos are in the midst of an epic battle.

The scene starts off with Fury walking through rows of filing cabinet shelves when all of a sudden, Talos is shown with a gun pointing at Fury’s face. In comes Carol Danvers (aka Captain Marvel), and rookie S.H.I.E.L.D. agent Phil Coulson to save the day.

If you’ve seen any promotional material for Captain Marvel so far, this may be an exciting clip for you to watch. This is the scene where we see Carol dressed down in her leather jacket, Nine Inch Nails shirt and S.H.I.E.L.D. ballcap. Finally, we have a little bit of background as to why we saw her standing in that strange storage room in the photos.

Judging by the scene, we’re not entirely sure what Carol and Nick are trying to do just yet. While we do see that they’re going up against the Skrull-in-disguise, Talo, this scene doesn’t exactly tell us what they’re looking for. It does look like they could be in S.H.I.E.L.D.’s vaults trying to find something very valuable, though. Could it be they’re looking for the Tesseract, which is rumored to play an important role in the movie?

We’ll just have to find out those answers in the movie. Thankfully, Captain Marvel hits theaters March 8. It’s is on track to be the highest grossing superhero film behind Marvel’s Black Panther. Fans are ready to go higher, further, faster with the first female superhero film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

When Avengers: Infinity War ended, we saw a disintegrating Nick Fury calling on Captain Marvel with an old school pager. And now just before Avengers: Endgame, debuts we get to see the origin story of Captain Marvel and how she will be integrated into the MCU.
