Could Emma Watson be joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe in the Black Widow movie?
Ever wish we could have more of the Harry Potter cast in the Marvel Cinematic Universe? Well, we may be getting some Emma Watson in the Black Widow movie!
While it is still up in the air, Emma Watson could be joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe. A standalone film for Natasha Romanoff is underway and while the Black Widow movie has some pretty big shoes to fill, it should be a great movie because we all love that character.
Add in Emma Watson as a second female lead and we’re there! The rumor came about that Marvel is looking to add Watson to their cast list as a character don’t know yet and that’d be pretty incredible for fans everyone! Watson, who has been focusing on her work as an ambassador and on her projects with reading and young girls, hasn’t been in anything major recently.
While understandable, it does have a lot of us fans itching for Emma to be back on our screens. And as part of a Marvel standalone? A lot of the times, actors join the MCU for the standalone pictures and don’t return for other movies so it’d be a perfect role for her if she didn’t want to fully commit to being in another franchise but would also give us the joy of seeing Emma Watson in a big name franchise once more (even if it is just for Black Widow).
It still may not happen and that’s okay but now, we want to dream!
