Exploring the aspect of friendship within the Harry Potter series

One thing that Harry Potter taught us all is that we have the ability to make a friendship our own family and that’s an extremely important thing to remember.

We learned about friendship through watching Harry Potter make his own family. He was alone, had no one, and met Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley and made the family he always longed to have. So, what lesson did that teach young fans of the series?

It showed us that, at the end of the day, we don’t have to rely on our actual family to be there for us. We can build a support system of whoever we like. For Harry, it was his friends at school, Sirius and Remus, and those who knew his parents and knew that James and Lily Potter would want him taken care of.

Otherwise, Harry would have had just the Dursleys looking out for him. He wouldn’t have any support and who knows where Harry James Potter would have ended up. It’s just wonderful to know that there is a series out there that teaches those reading it that we can choose who is important in our lives. We can be the ones who tell our stories and build a group that is there for us.

Like Harry Potter, we don’t have to let our family hurt us. Friendship is what helped him succeed and helped him feel loved and it was beautiful to see that kind of representation on screen and on the page.

Next. Harry Potter can still manage to bring out the fighting power within all of us. dark
