Food for Thought by Cristina Ferrare
Cristina Ferrare spent 25 years of her career modeling, representing brands like Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, Cosmopolitan, and Good Housekeeping. From there, she went on to become a TV personality, even eventually hosting two of her own shows, Christina and Friends and Home and Family. She’s since published a number of bestsellers intended to help her fans improve their lives in a number of areas.
And several of the bestsellers on Ferrare’s resume are cookbooks, highlighting her passion for eating well and prioritizing health. One of her more recent releases, Food for Thought, explores how we can use food to enhance our bodies and minds, as well as for healing purposes. In the book, Ferrare even digs into how different foods can nourish different parts of the body.
In Food for Thought, Ferrare provides readers with recipes that will benefit both the mind and the body. She takes into account the fact that our diets impact our mental health as much as our physical well-being, and she caters to both components of health. She also attempts to keep the recipes flavorful, maintaining the belief that healthy eating doesn’t need to be difficult or dull.
Similar to the other influencers on this list, Ferrare also tries to weave her personal experience into Food for Thought. Not only does she focus on recipes that she’s made for her friends and family members, but she provides her own insight into how these recipes can best be applied. And she strives to keep the recipes as effortless as they are creative, making them accessible to almost anyone.
