Carol can time travel

Samuel L. Jackson has been one of the major proponents of this theory, seeing as he’s mentioned Carol’s time-traveling abilities on multiple occasions during the Captain Marvel press tour. Her film might build on her comic book capabilities by adding time travel to her list of powers. Otherwise, her film could use Project P.E.G.A.S.U.S. and S.H.I.E.L.D.’s association to the project to give Carol some supplementary technology (or a supersuit) to harness the power of time travel and teleportation.

Coupled with Goose’s action figures complete with a futuristic muzzle, the source of the teleportation abilities could come from Carol’s Flerken pal. Obviously, that wouldn’t happen without any Flerken experimentation that Goose consents to.

Conversely, Carol’s time-traveling powers could be a part of the Skrulls’ failed plan. While we’re still convinced the Skrulls temporarily tampered with Carol’s powers, the Skrulls could have captured her in an attempt to brainwash and weaponize her. As an end result, Captain Marvel might have gained permanent time traveling powers from their experimentation. After all, it wouldn’t be the first or only time the Skrull Empire’s plans didn’t work in its favor.

Whether Carol gets her time traveling abilities from the initial onset of her powers or from some modifications to her Kree physiology, her time-hopping powers would be advantageous in the future fight against Thanos.

Having Jackson back the theories that Carol can time travel just proves that he’s just as obsessed with superhero theories as we are (or he’s just trying to distract us from an even more monumental movie reveal).
