The perks of shipping Sirius Black and Remus Lupin together
When it comes to Harry Potter ships, one that will always live on among fans is that of Sirius Black and Remus Lupin. And there are perks to loving them!
It is a joyous time to be a fan of Remus Lupin and Sirius Black. Mainly because we get to dream of our favorite characters loving each other for years and when we think about a possible Marauders series, that’s all we can really hope for.
The two had a mutual understanding of each other, a history of being outcasted. They could calm the other down, be there for each other in ways that no one else could and, at the end of the day, they needed one another. So yes, of course, we ship them together because it is one of the few healthy relationships we can see on screen (and in the text).
Sure, there isn’t confirmation that the two were together in any capacity but still, there were moments (even in the movies) where we could see how they felt about each other. When Remus was becoming a werewolf, in pain and miserable, Sirius was there to try and calm him and remind him who he was.
There is still hope that we can see Sirius and Remus if there ever is a Marauders television show but first, we’d have to get a series. We’ll have to pray that Warner Brothers and J.K Rowling listen to us and let them be in love with each other for all of us to cry.
