How to Get Away with Murder has a dinner and Cicely Tyson’s return this week, along with some ongoing developments. Here’s how to watch the new episode.

Can Cicely Tyson’s return to How to Get Away with Murder produce a good episode? It’s a real question, frankly, but at least this week’s episode is going to put her, Timothy Hutton, Amirah Vann, and Viola Davis in a room together, according to the press photos released. If nothing else, that should be an excellently acted scene, even if nothing really happens.

There’s probably other things that will happen, too, but it’s hard not to wonder what may or may not be of actual interest when that scene will probably dominate the proceedings. How could it not?

In fact, even the synopsis for this week’s episode focuses on it:

"Annalise gathers everyone together for the holidays while she wrestles over a difficult decision about her future, and the investigation into Miller’s murder starts to widen."

It’s rather odd that a holiday-themed episode is airing in February, but hey, what can you do when there are only so many episodes in a season and a lot of winter happening. (Does it typically snow in December in that part of Pennsylvania, enough that it’d be believable that the wedding has a couple inches? It’s a real question this writer now has.)

Anyway, it’s odd that Annalise would invite her mom up for the holidays and then put her in a room with coworkers and even Emmett Crawford, who is technically Annalise’s boss. This probably won’t backfire, given that everyone seems to be in a good mood in the photos, but don’t be surprised if it does, either.

Here’s how to watch tonight’s episode, which has the very strange title of “Where Are Your Parents?”

(Seriously, who is that aimed at? There aren’t any children characters aside from Christopher. Could it be spoken by Ophelia to one of her daughter’s other guests?)
