Dan Fogler talks Fantastic Beasts 3 and taking our characters to Brazil!

That’s right, Fantastic Beasts 3 is going to take us to Brazil and what does that mean for Newt, Tina, Queenie, and the rest of the gang in their search for Grindelwald?

Dan Fogler, who plays Jacob Kowalski in the Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them films, has brought up the third installment heading to Brazil. This isn’t the first we’ve heard about it either. J.K Rowling has also pointed out that Brazil should ‘brace itself’ so maybe this is all complete confirmation that we’ll see Newt and his friends in Brazil!

But what can that mean for their takedown of Grindelwald? The last we saw, Newt and his brother, Theseus, had to watch as Leta Lestrange lost her life to Grindelwald. They saw someone they’ve both loved sacrifice herself and they couldn’t do anything to stop it. And, if anything, Grindelwald ended up stronger when he left them.

So, what does that mean for Fantastic Beasts 3? Probably a lot more planning and banding together to figure out a way to stop him. He’s known throughout Europe and if they go somewhere he’s not known, they may stand a chance of coming up on him without his knowledge and being able to stop him.

While we know that he doesn’t succeed in his goals, we do know that he inspires Voldemort with his actions so really, at the end of the day, these movies are just giving us context to a story we already know so we’ll see how Grindelwald gets stopped eventually.
