Daniel Radcliffe suggests that we may be getting that Harry Potter reboot after all
If all the world is on fire, at least we have the knowledge that Daniel Radcliffe thinks that we’ll have a reboot of the Harry Potter series sooner rather than later.
To promote his new television show, Daniel Radcliffe has been making his way around the press circuit to talk about it. So, obviously, some people are going to bring up the Harry Potter series and there have been some interesting points about it. First, many have asked what they think the future has in store for Harry James Potter.
So what does Daniel think? He said that he could see a reboot coming in the future!
"It will be interesting to see how long those films stay… it feels like there’s a sacredness around them at the moment, but that’ll go, the shine will wear off at some point. It’ll be interesting if they reboot them and just do the films again or do a series; I’m fascinated to watch."
The question is: Will we get a movie reboot or will they adapt Harry Potter for the smaller screen? After the success of Game of Thrones, many of us have wanted the same treatment for the Potter series so maybe this is the time. Or maybe we can get a different aspect of the Potter series brought to the light (Give me more Sirius Black please!).
Whatever may happen, Radcliffe brings up a good point: He may have been the first Harry Potter but he certainly won’t be the last. With Harry Potter and the Cursed Child on Broadway and in the West End, there are already countless Harrys out there and more to come so who knows what we will see from the series.
