Saint Heart

Saint Heart is relatively new to the music scene, and she seemed to take this as a challenge to really make a statement on the red carpet. At the same time, though, a butterfly dress is astonishingly literal, even if we do love that there actually appears to be multiple attachments to the dress to simulate wings.

(She also could have worn wings, but didn’t.)

If there are a few minor criticisms to be had here, the black-on-black embroidery at the waist seems like a waste, because you have to struggle to see it anyway, and the few butterflies attached to the top seem like too much. It’s a butterfly. You’re a butterfly. We get it.

Tierra Whack

Rather than take the easy way out and make a pun based on Tierra Whack’s surname, I will attempt to comment on this as seriously as possible.

The dress, with its superimposed, yet slightly off-kilter, layers, seems to evoke a sense of confusion…

Okay, that’s about all I have. This is completely bonkers, from the funky Muppet coat to the ’90s accessories. What may be my favorite, though, is that she appears to be wearing a neutral shoe, as if she or her stylist realized that she has more than enough color in this palette.
