Good Trouble preview: Jamie returns with advice (and jealousy)

Good Trouble returns this week with a familiar face. Jamie is back and visiting Callie at the Coterie. But it seems like he’s biting off more than he can chew. Here’s our preview of “Imposter.”

Read up on our review from last week’s “Parental Guidance Suggested” here. The moms visited Callie and Mariana but it seemed like their coterie-mates needed to visit just as much as they did. Everyone got a little advice, and everyone got a lot of mama love.

Moving forward, Jamie is returning to Good Trouble and it looks like he’s visiting Callie at the Coterie.

I assume he’s there because Callie needs help with the whole Malika situation. Especially after Ben exposed his stalker tendencies and found a picture of them two at a party together on Instagram. Also especially after Jamal Thompson’s mother showed up at a Coterie dinner party last episode. Callie truly looked panicked, as she should of.

It’s a tough situation to be in for Callie and I hope Jamie gives her the advice that she needs. He also is expressing some jealously in the clip above about Gael, questioning what he and Callie are.

Callie replies that they’re just casual and that they can see other people. But is that really what both Callie and Gael want? Am I team Gael or team Jamie? I guess I’ll have to wait a few more episodes to figure it out.

Other things that jumped out during the promo:

• In Mariana’s world, it looks like she’s getting more time with Evan Speck. Could this be a good thing for Mariana?
• Who is the girl Dennis is hugging? Possibly the ex-wife who he lost his son with?
• Where is Davia’s story going to go? She’s clearly loyal to Bryan and dislikes Gael with a vengeance, but I’m wondering if we see her take a road this season focused on her reliance on alcohol. In just about every scene, she’s seen with a glass of wine. Is this something that’ll come up later?
• Who is the man Gael is talking to? Speckulate boss? Father?

So many questions, so little time.
