Cursed Child star Anthony Boyle in Tolkien, first look images released

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child actor Anthony Boyle is scheduled to appear in the upcoming movie, Tolkien, which is set for release later this year.
Anthony Boyle first came to the attention of the Wizarding World in Harry Potter and the Cursed Child as Scorpius Malfoy. Appearing on both the West End and Broadway, the theater actor is now moving off the stage to the big screen in the upcoming movie, Tolkien.
A biopic movie, Tolkein, will look at the friendships author J. R. R. Tolkien established on the advent of World War I and how they would affect him in his formative years and how they all played an influence in J. R. R. Tolkien’s writing of the famous The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings trilogy.

Anthony Boyle will be appearing as G.B. Smith in Tolkein. One of J. R. R. Tolkien’s friends. He will star alongside Nicholas Hoult who is playing Tolkien, Hoult is known for Skins, X-Men: Days of Future Past, and About A Boy.

Also starring in the upcoming movie is Lily Collins, who will play Tolkien’s future wife Edith Bratt. Other cast members include Craig Roberts, Mimi Keene, Patrick Gibson, and, Genevieve O’Reilly.

The movie has a release date set. It is due to arrive in theatres on May 10.
