Riverdale spinoff: 5 characters from the comics we want to see in Katy Keene

Now that we know Riverdale is getting another spinoff, it is time to think about which comic characters we want to see in Katy Keene’s show.

When Katy Keene was first introduced in 1945, she didn’t have her own comics. Instead, she got to join a number of different Archie comics, including that of the Riverdale gang. But, her popularity got to a point where she was given her own series in 1949.

The original Katy Keene series ran until 1961, and then went on hiatus until the 1980s when it was revived by a fan of the original series. The revival lasted until the early 1990s before once again going on break. And while the series was brought back again in 2005, it has been a while since we have seen the character in action.

Now with the arrival of the Riverdale spinoff, a new generation of fans will be introduced to the aspiring singer, actress, and model, and we can’t wait. But just because we will definitely meet Katy Keene, that doesn’t mean all of the characters we know and love will make an appearance in this new television series.

While we think there are a few obvious choices for characters we want to see, we really don’t know how the series will reintroduce Katy Keene and her friends, family, and even romantic partners. However, that doesn’t mean we can’t give suggestions for who want to see. And hopefully, some of these characters will show up in the new spinoff in some way or incarnation.
