What ever happened to Hagrid after Harry Potter became an auror?
We know that he’s probably just hanging with his favorite creatures at Hogwarts but what exactly happened to Hagrid after Harry Potter left school?
Hagrid has been the groundskeeper at Hogwarts for quite some time and it doesn’t look like that’s going to end any time soon. Even when Harry Potter and his friends leave school, Hagrid is still there taking care of the magical creatures and teaching the students about their beauty.
Maybe it is because he’s always had a soft spot for Harry but there seemed like a moment where Hagrid may follow Harry outside of Hogwarts, go help him work at the Ministry of Magic and deal with magical beasts all over the world.
It’s just a little upsetting that we don’t see more of him in Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. Hagrid clearly meant a lot to Harry and vice versa but seeing them away from each other and not talking is harsh. Sure, Hagrid probably still reaches out to Harry and is a part of his life but that doesn’t mean that we don’t want to see it.
For so long in the series, Hagrid was the one who looked out for Harry and made sure he was being safe and it’d be nice to see him still working at Hogwarts and maybe he could have even helped Albus and Scorpius as they were dealing with Delphie and her lies dealing with Cedric, Amos, and who her real father was.
Hagrid would probably have figured it out real quickly.
