What you need to know: Chris Pratt wasn’t always the jacked dinosaur trainer we know from the Jurassic World movies. Before all that hype, he was the ditzy wannabe rock star, Andy Dwyer. Even though Andy has lingering feelings for his ex-girlfriend, April’s crush persists, and she does everything in her power to stay close to him.
Even though she has a bit of a macabre vibe about her, Andy makes her smile. It’s honestly infuriating to watch Andy be so oblivious to her feelings because they’re so precious to us (and her, duh).
Why we ‘ship them so hard: There have never been two more opposite people who are more perfect for each other on TV. April softens to him in a way that made the rest of us, at home, melt into our bedroom slippers. Andy, in turn, is the most attentive and devoted boyfriend. He proves that, despite a man’s tragic romantic past, he can pull it together for the woman he loves.
