This Clearskin Pore Penetrating Black Mineral Mask from Avon is one of my absolute favorites. Not only is this particular face mask easy to use, but it is a wash off mask, which means no worries about peeling or any complicated instructions.
I love the fact that this mask not only leaves your skin feeling clean, refreshed, and smooth, but it also helps treat acne by penetrating the pores (just like the name suggests). This is a mask I keep on standby for when I am having a bad face week. The kind of week where it seems like my skin is trying to rebel against me and breakouts are my worst enemy.
What makes this mask so easy to use is the fact that it changes color to let you know it is time to rinse it off. This is great for those of us (like me), who have a bad time paying attention to timers or forget to actually set them. You’ll know it is time to wash it off after it goes from black to a lighter shade of grey, which is usually after 10 to 15 minutes.
While the company recommends using two to three times per week, I admit that I don’t do that. Instead, I typically use this mask when I need it (although I will go for that two or three times when I am having a breakout) or I feel like my pores are getting clogged, like after a move or when I have done heavy cleaning or something like that.
