LEGO Harry Potter wins Licensed Product of the Year award for Hogwarts Castle

LEGO Harry Potter won the award for Licensed Product of the Year for it’s Hogwarts Castle LEGO set during the UK Toy Industry Awards.

Following the recent announcement made at the London Toy Fair 2019 about a new range of Funko Harry Potter figures being released later this year. LEGO Harry Potter has won an award for best Licensed Product of the Year.

The award was for the 71043 Hogwarts Castle LEGO set. A LEGO set that has become the crown jewel of LEGO sets.

Containing over 6,000 pieces. It was released in August 2018 and became the largest LEGO set in the world. It contains 27 micro figures, which include all of your favorite Harry Potter characters along with the founders of Hogwarts themselves; Godric Gryffindor, Rowena Ravenclaw, Helga Hufflepuff, and Salazar Slytherin.

Once fully built, the entire set, which includes Hogwarts Castle, Hagrid’s Hut, and the Whomping Willow, stands at around 22 inches tall, 27 inches wide, and 16 inches deep. So, you know, big, in comparison to your regular everyday LEGO set.

Being such a large LEGO set comes with a fairly large price tag as well. You can currently place an order for the 71043 Hogwarts Castle LEGO set. It will set you back $399.99 USD and don’t forget you will need to throw in Tax on top of the price tag.
