The “Rock Like Queen Tour” could be coming to a city near you, and it’s the perfect chance to give your best Freddie Mercury-inspired performance.

If there’s one thing most people know about singing along in the car on a road trip, it’s that you can’t top Queen when it comes to getting people to give their best rock star performance. If you love Queen and can’t get enough of their songs, Twentieth Century Fox has a perfect fan experience for you to participate in.

To promote the DVD/Blu-Ray release of Bohemian Rhapsody, a karaoke event for fans will be held in different cities across the country. The “Rock Like Queen Tour Bus” is a half-hour ride on a double-decker bus that allows fans to sing along to favorite Queen songs such as “Bohemian Rhapsody” and “We Will Rock You.”

Queen fans begin their karaoke bus experience by picking a prop or two such as a light-up microphone or a tambourine. There are also free mustaches, so you can really feel like Freddie Mercury while you belt out “Scaramouch, Scaramouch will you do the Fandango!”

The inside of the bus itself is covered in snapshots of scenes from the film, and the whole setting really gives off a fun “tour bus” vibe. You can choose to sit inside where it’s warm or sit on the upper deck where you can sing to people on the sidewalks. We imagine Freddie would be on top, no matter the weather.

Each ride lasts about 30 minutes, and most of the popular Queen songs people love to sing are featured. You might feel a little shy at first, but after the first couple songs you’ll be ready for your solo and singing as loud as you can.

The “Rock Like Queen Tour” is driving around to different locations. Today, it’s in New York City and next up is Austin, followed by Las Vegas and Los Angeles.

If you can’t make it to the bus, Twentieth Century Fox also makes it possible for you to belt out tunes at home if you have an Amazon Alexa.  All you have to do is say, “Alexa, play Ay-Oh live!” and you can sing along with Freddie Mercury just like fans did during the band’s iconic Live Aid 1985 performance. The Amazon Alexa skill is activated on devices from January 22 to March 31.

This tour bus really was a perfect way to promote Bohemian Rhapsody, and it was even more enjoyable thanks to the upbeat staff and a positive atmosphere.

Whether you have seen the film or not, fans of Queen and Freddie Mercury’s legacy will have a great time. It’s hard not to enjoy yourself when you get a chance to sing so many iconic songs by an iconic band!
