Hermione Granger and Harry Potter are a fine ship and you can fight me

Harmony fans have had a resurgence and here is why Harry Potter and Hermione Granger being in a relationship is a great ship from the series!

Hermione Granger and Harry Potter would have been great together and now that Pottermore released an article about the relationship, the age old ship war is back in full force. Which, let’s not. Hermione and Harry ended up marrying other people but then again, we don’t know the whole future. They could have ended up together down the line.

For many of us, it is one relationship that we still held out hope for, especially if we read the books. Sure, the movies were fine and represented their relationship even more heavy-handedly but it still was Ronmione and Harry/Ginny by the end of the series.

Hermione and Harry were always there for each other, were constantly asked about their status, and were often thought to be dating. That didn’t happen with Ron and Hermione so the argument that “they can still just be friends” can apply there.

But why exactly is Pottermore bringing up this battle of the ages all over again? Who knows, we constantly had to deal with each side fighting for why their ship was better and it was a bloodbath.

At the end of the day, even if Harry and Hermione didn’t end up together, we have fanfiction out there to keep the dream alive. We can read about our favorite relationships and pretend like whatever J.K Rowling stated as “endgame” didn’t happen.
