Fantastic Beasts 3 filming delayed by Warner Bros

Sorry Wizarding World fans but Fantastic Beasts 3 will be delayed as filming is officially pushed back several months by Warner Bros. Studios.
If you’re hoping to get answers to all the questions Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald left you with soon then I have bad news for you. Fantastic Beasts 3 has been delayed as the start date of filming has been pushed back by Warner Bros.
Fantastic Beasts 3 was expected to begin filming in July this year. However, according to Deadline, filming will now not begin until late fall.

This decision was taken because the production team needs more time to get ready to film Fantastic Beasts 3. While the script for the next Wizarding World movie has been completed by J.K. Rowling, there is just not enough time for the production team to be ready to start filming by July.
With filming now to begin in late fall this will no doubt have a knock on effect when Fantastic Beasts 3 will be ready for theatres. It was expected to arrive in late 2020. This could now be 2021 with the delay. However, that is still to be confirmed.
In a way, this is a good thing. It’s disappointing from the standpoint of we will all have to wait longer for the answers J.K. Rowling has promised us. But, it means Warner Bros. is not willing to rush the Wizarding World movie just to meet their deadlines. Something they have been prone to do in the past and ultimately making a mess of things.

So, if we are to take anything good away from all of this, while Fantastic Beasts 3 is likely to arrive later than we initially thought now, at least it’s more likely we are going to be getting a great movie rather than a hash job.
