Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald available on Blu-ray March 2019

Mark the date Wizarding World fans Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald has an official Blu-ray release date.

You will soon be able to take the magic home Wizarding World fans. Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald is set to be released on Blu-ray in March this year, and there is going to be some decent bonus features included as well.

Pre-orders have been available for Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald for some time now. But the release date has only just been confirmed by the franchise.

Set to be released on March 12, 2019, on Blu-ray. If you opt for the digital copy you will get even earlier, with the release date of February 15, 2019. The franchise made the announcement today, January 15, via their official social media channel.

They also announced at the same time that there is going to be a certain bonus feature included.  Both the Blu-ray copy and the digital copy of Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald will contain an extended cut option.

What scenes are to be included in the extended cut is not known. Neither the amount of extended footage as well. Considering the scale of the Wizarding World movie you can probably bank on there being more than just a couple of minutes included. But we will have to just wait and see.

Whether or not the DVD will include an extended cut is not clear. Nor its release date either. Only the Blu-ray and digital copy have been mentioned in the announcements but that could be because they were directing everyone’s attention to the extended edition details. The DVD could have the same release date, but not include the bonus material.
