Harry Potter is finally moving into the comic book world

It’s not a full comic book series or anything but it is a step in the right direction. Harry Potter is making an appearance in Young Justice #1.

Potterheads want more of the Wizarding World and comic books are one way to do. Fans will be pleased to hear that Harry Potter is moving into the comic book world. Albeit not a complete series, but it is a step in the right direction for such a thing. By appearing in the launch of Young Justice #1.

According to Bleeding Cool, the launch of Young Justice #1, which is set for release this coming Wednesday, Jan. 6, will feature Harry Potter in its issue.

The Boy Who Lived isn’t expected to be appearing, nor any of the other characters. What apparently happens, is when the character, “Impulse,” begins to shout out the names of well-known characters to aide in the battle against an interdimensional threat, familiar names like the Justice League and Superman are yelled, along with Harry Potter. And at that very moment, the official Harry Potter logo is to appear in the comic book.

This is all possible with DC being owned by Warner Bros. who also own the rights to Harry Potter.

It’s not possible to get any official confirmation of this from either Warner Bros., DC or the creators of Young Justice #1, Brian Bendis and Patrick Gleason. So we will just have to wait for the comic to be released but it will be pretty cool this did happen.

It would also be a massive step in the right direction for Harry Potter fans. With the Wizarding World being such a huge fandom, it has been a wonder why comics have not yet been established. Other major franchises like Star Wars, for example, have continued the story introduced by the moves in comics, and it has proved to be more than a success.

Maybe this is a way for Warner Bros. to test the waters at the idea of Harry Potter in a comic. Fingers crossed this is the beginning of something amazing.
