If Star Wars: Episode IX filming is coming to a close, it could mean a title reveal and teaser trailer are on the horizon.

Since Star Wars: The Last Jedi hit theaters, fans have been speculating about Star Wars: Episode IX—pondering everything from the film’s title to how the trilogy’s conclusion will unfold. And even though it’s been over a year since Star Wars: The Last Jedi was released, fans still don’t have much information regarding its sequel.

According to  a post on StarWarsLeaks from Reddit user Aliy2018, filming for Star Wars: Episode IX might be coming to a close. They posted a screenshot of an Instagram photo that was purportedly taken by one of the crew members.

The picture shows a thank you note to the cast and crew, supposedly sent by producers J.J. Abrams, Kathleen Kennedy, Callum Greene, and Michelle Rejwan.

Though the identity of the Instagram user has been crossed out, it seems that the poster is one of the prop makers on the set. The note, which thanks the cast and crew for all of their hard work, almost sounds like a parting gift, and the jackets only further that impression. Given that, it’s no wonder that fans are assuming that filming is finally wrapping up.

And if the cast and crew are wrapping up filming, that could mean several things for Star Wars fans—including that a teaser trailer could be on the horizon. Releasing a trailer seems like the obvious next step once filming is complete, and as Reddit user Brutalism and Cupcakes points out in the comments, the Super Bowl is approaching.

In fact, the internet was already buzzing with discussion of a possible trailer last month, after Steven Weintraub of Collider tweeted that December was a huge month for trailers and he’d be surprised if the Star Wars trailer didn’t air. Sadly, Weintraub’s trailer predictions didn’t amount to much, but there’s still a strong possibility that the trailer will be coming this winter.

Star Wars fans have also been wondering about the film’s title, which has still yet to be divulged. The Hollywood Reporter believes we won’t have to wait much longer for the big reveal, predicting that the announcement will follow the same trajectory as the reveal for The Last Jedi, which occurred at the end of January 2017.

If filming has finally ended, it seems likely that The Hollywood Reporter‘s predictions will be accurate. And if the title reveal is approaching, the film’s trailers are bound to be right behind it. Until then, fans we’ll just have to take solace in the fact that we’re less than a year away from Star Wars: Episode IX.
