Pottermore shares how Witches and Wizards used to use the bathroom

So, it turns out, before Harry Potter went to Hogwarts, Witches and Wizards would use the bathroom in a different way.
Prepare to expand your Wizarding World trivia in a way you never thought it was going to be expanded. Thanks to Pottermore, we now officially know how Witches and Wizards went to the bathroom before the days of Harry Potter.
Yes, that’s right. This is pee related trivia, everyone. How wonderful is that?

Ok, so other than the fact I cannot believe I am writing this, I can’t believe the Hogwarts founders never considered the issue of plumbing. Because apparently, it had none in the old days.
Only because of us muggles does the castle of Hogwarts have bathrooms. So Yah! 50 points to House Muggle! Mr. Weasley will be so proud of each and every one of us.

Bet you never thought you would learn that particular piece of Wizarding World trivia today? Why on earth Pottermore decide to share this I don’t know. What I do know for certain however is it is weird, and yet fascinating.
It also raises more questions than it does answer. Like, what happened when they needed to go number 2? Did they have a designated area for doing that particular piece of business? And how long did they do this for? Did a muggle plumber come and install it for them and afterward was obliviated?
There are just so many bathroom related questions needing to be answered now.
