IQA announce Pan-American and European Games locations 2019

Prior to the New Year, the International Quidditch Association announced the locations for the Pan-American and European Games 2019.
The Continental Games are scheduled to take place in 2019. Ahead of the Quidditch World Cup in 2020. Locations for both the Pan-American Games and European Games have been announced by the International Quidditch Association along with further details regarding the event.
Following the finalists that were announced for the games on Nov. 16, 2018. IQA officials visited each of the finalists, in order to determine who would host the games in 2019.

After their visits to each location and discussions amongst themselves, the IQA has decided the Pan-American Games will take place in Richmond, Virginia, and the European Games to take place in Bamberg, Germany.
The Pan-American Games will take place in July 2019. It will be held at Glover Park in Henrico County, Richmond, Virginia. The IQA is hosting the games in partnership with US Quidditch (USQ) and Richmond Region Tourism. It will be the first tournament in the United States the IQA has hosted. Henrico County has hosted Quidditch tournaments in the past.

The European Games are to take place between June 29 – 30, 2019. It will be held in Fuchs-Park-Stadium in Bamberg, Germany. The tournament is to be run by Three River Sport Events, with the IQA acting as consultants. This will be third European tournament to take place.

It is noted at the end of the announcement that further details are coming soon.
